The official website for the band BUMP OF CHICKEN announced on Tuesday that they will perform the ending theme "Colony" for the second and last live-action film of Hitoshi Iwaaki's Parasyte (Kiseiju) science-fiction horror manga.

BUMP OF CHICKEN also performed "Parade," the ending theme to the first Parasyte movie.

The group will release a double A-side CD single which will include both "Colony" and the Blood Blockade Battlefront TV anime's opening theme, "Hello, world!", on April 22. The soundtrack by Naoki Sato (Assassination Classroom, Blood-C, Eureka Seven, live-action Rurouni Kenshin, Sword of the Stranger, Precure franchise) for both live-action films will also debut on that day.

Shota Sometani (live-action xxxHOLiC, All Esper dayo!) stars in the films as Shinichi Izumi, Eri Fukatsu (Onnanoko Monogatari) plays Ryōko Tamiya, and Ai Hashimoto (Blood-C: The Last Dark, live-action Another, Sadako 3D) plays Satomi Murano. The cast also features Tadanobu Asano as Gotō, Masahiro Higashide as Hideo Shimada, Miko Yoki as Nobuko Izumi, Jun Kunimura as Hirama, Kazuki Kitamura as Takeshi Hirokawa, Hirofumi Arai as Uragami, Pierre Taki as Miki, and Nao Omori as Kuramori. Sadao Abe also stars as the voice of Migi.

Takashi Yamazaki (live-action Space Battleship Yamato, Always: Sunset on Third Street) is directing the films. Ryūta Kosawa (Always Sunset on Third Street, Shōnen H) is writing the films' scripts. The first film is opened in Japan on November 29, and the second film will open in April 25.
