posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The mobile action RPG Shironeko Tennis (a spin-off of the Rune Story/Shironeko mobile game) will launch a collaboration with the boys of Prince of Tennis beginning on August 30. The game is promoting the upcoming collaboration with a promotional video previewing crossover character Ryōma Echizen.
The crossover will also include appearances by Kunimitsu Tezuka and characters from The New Prince of Tennis series.
Shironeko Tennis is competitive tennis game featuring many characters from Colopl's action RPG Rune Story.
Rune Story will be adapted into a television anime next year. Colopl's Shironeko Project smartphone game launched in Japan in 2014, and launched in English with the title Rune Story in 2015. The game's English version ceased updates in 2016.
Colopl announced in July a tentatively titled Shironeko New Project action role-playing game, slated for 2020 on the Nintendo Switch.
