A Television Anime Adaptation of Frontwing's Newest Game ISLAND Has Been Announced
Tokyo, Japan - March 25, 2016 Frontwing is proud to announce that a television anime adaptation of its newest title “ISLAND” has been green-lit. At the current time, a broadcast date and other details have not been decided.
“ISLAND” is a title from Frontwing, a company that is known for such titles as the Grisaia series. The game's scenario is written by G.O. (“Himawari”), and Yōsai Kūchū (“Makai Tenshi Djibril”) is providing the artwork. The adventure visual novel takes place in a southern island far away from the mainland. In the game's story, the male protagonist fights to change the customs and the future of the island, which has a very complicated history. The game features a very experienced voice cast, with the main heroines are played by famous voice actresses Yukari Tamura, Rie Murakawa, and Kana Asumi.
The PC game is scheduled to be released within Japan on April 28. The completion of the game was announced last week on the official website. Pre-orders for the game are currently being accepted. Frontwing is currently holding a pre-order campaign that bundles an original voice drama featuring the three main heroines with the game.
