How Do You Like Wednesday? premiered in 1996 and is notable for being one of the first variety programs set in Hokkaido. The show is credited for launching Yō Ōizumi's acting career, possibly known best to anime fans as the voice of Professor Hershel Layton in the puzzle game series and No-Face in Miyazaki's Spirited Away film. The show originally ran from 1996 to 2002, and now airs specials irregularly.
Seven Seas published all two volumes of Hoshino's manga adaptation of Keishi Ayasato's Mythical Beast Investigator (Genjū Chōsain) novel series.
