YOSHIKI, leader of rock band X Japan, will perform at Sarah Brightman's final concert of her HYMN World Tour at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday November 11.
Tickets are available at the Royal Albert Hall website. It will be an evening performance, starting at 7.30 p.m.
The two artists collaborated on the song “Miracle (Sarah's Version)”, composed by YOSHIKI and performed by Brightman with YOSHIKI on piano.
This is the first time that YOSHIKI has returned to the UK since his band X JAPAN performed at Wembley Arena in 2017, YOSHIKI previously brought his solo YOSHIKI Classical concert to London in 2014 and gave a live performance of Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the UK's Classic Rock Awards in 2015.
X Japan's most notable anime contributions were the songs in the X² music video collection and later X movie. The animation Studio Madhouse adapted both productions from CLAMP's X manga. The surviving band members — Toshimitsu "Toshi" Deyama, Yoshiki Hayashi, Tomoaki "Pata" Ishizuka, and Hiroshi "Heath" Morie — reunited in 2007, ten years after they first disbanded and nine years after the death of guitarist Hideto "Hide" Matsumoto.
