Luigi's Mansion Game Gets 3DS Remake on August 3

2001 GameCube game had 3DS sequel in 2013
Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday the Luigi's Mansion game will get a remake for Nintendo 3DS this year.
The mansion map will appear on the bottom screen in the 3DS version, and the game will have a new boss rush mode.
The original game launched for GameCube in 2001. A sequel, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon launched for 3DS in 2013.
