3rd Zero Escape Game's Characters, Japanese Cast Revealed

Video game news source Famitsu revealed the Japanese cast and Rui Tomono's character designs for Zero Time Dilemna, the third game in the Zero Escape series, on Tuesday. Famitsu also confirmed that the third game will be a conclusion to the series.
Like the previous games, Zero Time Dilemna will follow nine people as they try to escape, this time from an underground nuclear bomb shelter. The game will be fully voiced with the following cast members:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Carlos
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Akane
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Junpei
- Aki Toyosaki as Q
- Akira Ishida as Eric
- Maaya Sakamoto as Mira
- Mamiko Noto as Diana
- Chiaki Omigawa as Phi
- Daisuke Ono as Sigma
Famitsu will publish more details on characters and story in its March 24 issue on Thursday. It will also publish an interview with series director and scenario writer Kōtarō Uchikoshi.
The Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita game is slated for physical and digital release in North America and a digital-only release in Europe in summer 2016. The Japanese release date has not yet been revealed.
Chunsoft developed the first two games in the series. Aksys Games released the Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward puzzle adventure game on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in 2013. The game is a sequel to 2009's Nintendo DS game 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
