Series about 26-year-old who enjoys herself at bars alone
The May issue of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine is announcing on Wednesday that a television anime adaptation of Chie Shinkyū's Wakako-zake manga has been green-lit. It also reports that the previously announced live-action television project has an over-the-air broadcast green-lit.
The cuisine manga follows 26-year old Wakako, who drinks different kinds of sake at bars alone every night, searching for her place to belong. The series ranked 10th on the Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2014 list in February.
Shinkyū started the manga in Monthly Comic Zenon in 2011, and Tokuma Shoten published the fourth volume in December.
