In addition, the Naruto: Narutimate Storm (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm) game was one of the winners of the Excellence Prizes in the Entertainment Division. Hidekaz Himaruya's Hetalia was one of the jury-recommended works in the self-produced/web manga section.
The 13th Japan Media Arts Festival will be held in Tokyo from February 3 to February 14 next year. Previous winners of the Media Arts Festival Awards have included Kunio Katō's "Tsumiki no Ie" ("The House of Small Cubes"), Gainax's Gurren Lagann, Mitsuo Iso's Dennō Coil, Makoto Isshiki's The Piano Forest, Masaaki Yuasa's Kaiba, Koji Yamamura's acclaimed "Franz Kafka's A Country Doctor" short, Takehiko Inoue's Vagabond and Real manga, Nintendo's Nintendogs pet simulator, Aniplex's Kamichu! slice-of-life school anime, and Mamoru Hosoda's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time time-traveling anime remake.
