New England Patriots' Anime Club Toured Anime Boston
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Anime clubs aren't just for your local college. New England Patriots defensive tackle Lawrence Guy started his own anime club right in the football locker room. Guy, along with fellow defensive tackle Adam Butler and the rest of Patriots otaku crew headed to Anime Boston last month to mingle with guests and check out the Dealer's Hall.

Plenty of anime fans are playing on the athletic field. The Cleveland Browns tight ends Darren Fells and David Njoku were spotted dancing like Saiyans in the end zone. Green Bay Packer's defensive end Mike Daniels was the subject of the Crunchyroll documentary, He Was Anime - The Mike Daniels Story. 2017–18 All-Star and Philadelphia 76ers' center Joel Embiid was spotted prepping for a game by watching some Dragon Ball GT on his iPhone X while receiving a pre-game shoulder massage. The Dallas Mavericks' Wesley Matthews starred in a parody of the Dragon Ball Z opening and the wrestling trio The New Day entered the ring in 2016 dressed as Super Saiyans for WWE's Wrestlemania 32.
