The photo shows Keiko Kitagawa (Sailor Mars), Rika Izumi (also known as Chisaki Hama; Sailor Mercury), Mew Azama (Sailor Jupiter), Miyū Sawai (Sailor Moon), and Komatsu. According to the caption, the actresses got together for Meat Day on April 29 (the number "29" may be read to have the same pronunciation as the Japanese word for "meat").

Komatsu wrote that she met the other actresses individually over the years, but it had been a long time since they were all together. "We talked jokingly that we've been together for over half our lives, but it really feels as if our relationship is like that of childhood friends rather than industry pals," she said.

The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon live-action series adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi's manga ran from October 4, 2003 to September 25, 2004. The series retells the manga's first story arc.

The Heisei period started on January 8, 1989, the day after the death of the Showa Emperor Hirohito, and ended on April 30, 2019 (Heisei 31), the date which Emperor Akihito abdicated the Chrysanthemum Throne. The new Japanese era name is "Reiwa" (令和), which means "auspicious/excellent peace."
