Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji prize lottery brand is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Sword Art Online video game series with a two-part lottery. The "Ichiban Kuji Sword Art Online Game Project 5th Anniversary Part1" prize lottery will debut on May 26, followed by "Part2" on June 23.

The prize line showcases Asuna, Sinon, and other female characters in the franchise. The A Prize in the first part of the promotion will be a Sinon figure. Similarly, an Asuna figure will be the top prize in the second wave of the campaign. When joined, the figures' stands will be able to form the logo of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, the most recent title in the franchise's game series.

The remaining prizes in the line are as follows:

  • B Prize: Asuna and Sinon visualize board
  • C Prize: Asuna visualize board
  • D Prize: Towels (three varieties)
  • E Prize: Mini fancy colored paper boards (10 varieties)
  • F Prize: Rubber Straps (10 varieties)
  • Last One Prize: Cushion

Each prize ticket will cost 680 yen (about US$6). Participants will be able to use their prize ticket stubs for an additional chance to win an A Prize figure.

The Sword Art Online: End World smartphone game debuted in 2013 as the first game in the series. The franchise adapts the original Sword Art Online light novel series written by Reki Kawahara with abec's illustrations.

Kirito and Asuna are also tying the knot in another Sword Art Online merchandise line that will ship in June.
