Arcade-goer Shows Off Crazy Taiko Skills
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Namco's Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Master) arcade games are in the same vein as other popular rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution and Para Para Paradise but never quite hit it off stateside compared to its popularity in Japan. Taiko no Tatsujin requires players to beat two drums in rhythm with the music, hitting either the center or outside.
One player spotted at an arcade has put the time in to earn the "master" title. In a tweet shared on Thursday, and retweeted over 3,000 times, this player shows off some fancy hand and foot work while nailing each perfect hit.

The player gets the growing crowd pumped, even earning applause after he finishes the song.
Expat James McVinnie earned himself recognition for recording a guy rocking out to the game in 2015. It helped that he's also an impressive player.
