Nintendo Celebrates 15 Years of Animal Crossing in New Video

On April 14, 2001, Nintendo released its first incarnation of Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 64 console. A world of talking with your animal neighbors, pulling weeds, decorating your house, and attempting to get out from under your crippling debt owed to Tom Nook.
Nintendo began streaming a "Thank You" video for the franchise to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
Nintendo released Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, a party video game for the Wii U, in November.
