In anticipation from the upcoming prequel to the swimming anime, Free!, a special pillow will be up for grabs. Shaped strangely like one's posterior, this cushion is dressed in a the same swimsuit worn by the boys in the film. If you've ever wanted to...cuddle with a member of Iwatobi, this may be the closest you'll get. The pillow goes for 4,300 yen (about US$35). Twitter users have spoken up about the pillow, calling it embarrassing with one user asking "Is this really meant for your face?"

The cushion comes as part of a line of movie merchandise available to fans. One such product is a 36-page full color artbook, featuring over 11 characters from the show. This costs 1,300 yen (US$11).

A set of nine pins, portraying characters from the show, will also be released. Each pin costs 600 yen each (US$5).

A movie-themed hair scrunchie will be available for 1,200 yen (US$10).

These clip-on nails go for 1,200 yen (US$10).

This glowing jigsaw puzzle will cost 1,390 yen ($11).

The Kyoto Animation Shop will also release a number of new products. One such is a collection of 10 clear files. Each one costs 540 yen (US$4) and whichever one you get will be completely random.

Randomized chibi badges will also be available for 540 yen each (US$4).

These acrylic keychains come in a set of six for 1,620 yen (US$13). These and the following items will be made available on December 19.

Another set of badges will be made available for 540 yen each (US$4).

A set of seven rubber straps will be individually made available. The first five will cost 864 yen each (US$7) while the two paired characters will each go for 1,080 yen (US$9).

These themed rubber band bracelets will be 1 ,080 yen (US$9) a set of two.

Collectible bromides will be on sale as well. One set contains five random bromides and will cost 1,080 yen. (US$9)

This rung notebook will cost 648 yen (US$5).

Finally, this mug will cost 1,620 yen (US$13)

The prequel film, High Speed! -Free! Starting Days- opened in Japanese theaters on December 5. The characters of the movie are currently printed on Japanese trains for further promotion. Iwami, the basis for the setting the anime, has previously held a promotional campaign for the movie.
