It is sad to see him downgraded to "Bakemonogatari manga artist" when the guy has created so many popular stories of his own. Imagine introducing Akira Toriyama as the Dragon Quest artist.

Didn't even know he drew the Bakemonogatari manga tbh, I only relate him to Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear. Looking forward to the new work!

Tenjho Tenge and Air Gear are still what he's known for. It's just not implied here since of what he most recently worked on. |

BTW, interestingly on Twitter and Bluesky, ANN mentions Tenjho Tenge, so why the heck is it not in the headline on ANN itself? |

I'm happy to hear about Oh! Great working on a new series. I'm hyped for it and hope it isn't limited in terms of his usual vision... but the title of the article is highly disrespectful. Why would you use a series that isn't even his? You literally state in the article:
You could have used Air Gear or Tenjho Tenge, but you use someone elses series. Bakemonogatari should be at the bottom of the article after his own works. |
