Great news for Frontwing and Liar-soft, amidst the continual downturn of the visual novel industry. Aniplex's involvement makes me wonder if the hope here is that one of these is popular enough to become a multimedia franchise that spawns anime, mobage, etc. Considering how much of Aniplex’s output the last few years has been dominated by the Fate franchise, which started as a VN 15 years ago, it’s natural they’d try and see if lightning can strike twice.
