It's hard to get a legit serious horror anime that featured ghost or supernatural forces as main theme, since there's barely any market for that in anime, with Another being the last true anime that had wonderful ghastly atmosphere and frightening soundtrack. I don't like Yami Shibai as much as its first and second entries anymore not due to the fact that it's a short but the current style with narration bothers me, as well as the content being not scary enough. But, this seems okay on its own, though I'll probably not gonna follow it. I'm just going to go and look for any horror movies that Hollywood produced last year.

I've only read the manga version but I only have endless praise for this series. One of my manga gems.

I've read some of the source manga.
The story's a slice-of-life/growing up series, focusing on the MC's inner growth as he interacts with the apartment residents (both non-ghostly and ghostly).

I didn't read the plot. I'm just gonna watch it because they were finally smart enough to adapt from a finished series.

This story sounds kind of like Invaders of the Rokujyōma!? haha Was a fun show though, so would definitely give this a shot!

Wow ... They are adapting a LN After 8 years ... I really Hope this means that It will bè a complete adaptation of the source material !!!
Given the amount of volumes released It will Need at least 24 episodes ...

I think it would be a bad investment if didn't opt for at least 1 24-episode season or 3 12- or 13-episode seasons.
